The voice and body work simultaneously. Therefore, both must be considered when looking at the development of the voice. This is the first step before looking at text or speech.
The training looks at the effect of physicality on the voice and seeks to increase awareness and control. It focusses on breath: freedom allowing use of the voice without strain or tension, where the breath goes and how we manipulate it for speaking long phrases, or to increase resonance for projection and a fuller sound. Finally, speech clarity through articulation.
The sessions are designed to be focussed and fun. Whether for giving presentations, speaking on the telephone, or just general improvement of tone, pitch and articulation, this training is the first step.
